This is beautiful. Mysterious, middle-of-the-night grooves with a subtle breakbeat influence besides the more obvious links to electronic-era Herbie Hancock or Chick Corea. For me the ensemble achieves such a rich, layered sound that it's surprising to learn that there's only ever four people playing.
